Is Oregon Up For Grabs?

Probably not, but anything is possible. In 2000, the presidential race was very close here -- closer than it usually is in this Democratic-leaning state. From the feel of Portland, though, it's gotten a lot more radical. There's a weird vibe of group-think going around. I know people that were hard-core Bush supporters in 2000, and now they are voting for Kerry. I ask them why, and they just spout the normal fever swamp reasons. It's my opinion that a lot of these people have just fallen victim to living in a echo chamber. If all you hear for four years is how Bush is stupid, dangerous, controlled, and a menace, and you have no other source of opinion, it can affect you.

It would be great, though, and possible. We'll see in a few hours!
