Last Day of Summer

It's almost over: only about two and a half hours left of summer, and we're officially in the fall season. Thank God. I'm pretty much a cold blooded person, and have little patience for hot weather. It's OK for a while -- even bordering on pleasurable for a week or two -- but after that I'm ready for the cold, the rain, and the wind. It has to do a lot with the fact I was raised a skiier, and was up on the mountain, at one point in my youth, about 80 days a year. I always feel more awake in crisp air. Bring on the rain!
