Ronald Reagan, Rest In Peace

During my earliest formative political years, he was president. He was such a major figure in my education, that a majority of my political beliefs line up almost perfectly with his, even to this day. A great man, and even though he fought a horrible illness for the past decade-plus, I'm sad to see him go. The world is less without him.

Andrew Sullivan writes on his blog, and on Time's Web site, a very accurate and poignant remembrance. His thoughts closely mirror mine.
