Bigot's Show Cancelled

It's about time. When I heard that MSNBC had attached their good name to Michael Savage, I was surprised, to say the least. Did they ever listen to the show? Well, he's gone from TV Land now, and hopefully this incident will spur people to tune him out, and not the opposite, as so often happens in America. Here's what he said:

"You should only get AIDS and die, you pig. How's that? Why don't you see if you can sue me, you pig. You got nothing better than to put me down, you piece of garbage. You have got nothing to do today, go eat a sausage and choke on it. Get trichinosis."

Hah, reap what you sow, you egotistical bastard. How can anyone defend a person capable of saying these things? You can't, and it's obvious to me that this sort of diatribe hurts conservatism more than it helps. Perhaps he's a Democrat in deep cover, taking down the Republicans from within? The idea is not original (thanks to Instapundit for the link).

I wouldn't usually post anything about people such as Savage, as ignoring them is the only way to help them go away, but since this is good news (for the decent people in the world), I couldn't help but comment about it. You'll never see me link to his Web site or organization, though. He doesn't add anything useful to any political discourse, only poisoning minds and whipping up already poisoned ones.
